Archivals Living
Fall 2026
Exploring the origins of America's most iconic landmarks. A visual storytelling and wayfinding system built to inform and educate National Park visitors about the ground under their feet.
Project Overview
National Parks serve as living monuments of our country's history, yet their stories often remain untold. This project aims to change that. Using a digital archive of written essays, 3d models, and additional media, Archivals Living seeks to expand access and increase knowledge about our nation's public lands to those who want to learn more.
I considered this project through the lens of a museum installation on National Parks that I would be curious to visit. How can information about our public lands be explored in a way that's new and exciting? How can I strike a balance between engaging and educational? How will I execute displaying these types of information? These were some questions I asked myself as I conducted this case study on information design and creative data representation.
